Heather Barnes

Manor Lake Snellville – Executive Director

Heather Barnes has dedicated her career to the senior living industry, beginning at a young age as a Certified Nursing Assistant in skilled nursing. Her passion for working with seniors quickly grew, and she continued to expand her experience by transitioning into activities, eventually becoming an Activity Director.

Heather’s commitment to senior living and leadership led to her promotion to Executive Director, where she began overseeing assisted living communities and developing her skills in operations, team leadership, resident engagement, and quality care. Her career journey reflects her dedication to creating meaningful experiences for residents and supporting the teams who care for them.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time outdoors, floating on the river, hunting, listening to music, shopping, and, most importantly, spending time with her family. She is happily married and has one son and daughter-in-law, one daughter, and one grandson who is around two years old. Heather is also one of 5 siblings, with four brothers.

Family, relationships, and a passion for senior living are at the heart of who Heather is, both personally and professionally.
